Steve Roberts, a member of Sutherland’s Litigation Practice Group and a member of the firm’s national Energy and Environmental Litigation Group, has more than 30 years of courtroom experience in energy, commercial litigation, international insurance, maritime and professional services litigation. He is nationally recognized for his litigation, insurance and maritime and personal injury experience and has tried cases in many state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.

Before receiving his undergraduate degree, Steve served as a Communications Specialist in the Submarine Service of the U.S. Navy. After completing active duty, he served in the Reserves until 1977. While completing his undergraduate degree, Steve worked as a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
