Bob Pile is a member of Sutherland’s Corporate Practice Group, focusing on business transactions with an emphasis on acquisition and disposition transactions, restructurings and strategic relationships. Bob’s experience includes representing buyers and sellers in acquisitions involving both private and publicly held companies, restructuring transactions involving privately held companies and joint ventures, private and public securities offerings, and governance matters involving both public and private companies.

Before entering law school, Bob spent three years with Digital Equipment Corporation, a major computer equipment manufacturer (now part of Hewlett-Packard), and he continues to work extensively with clients engaged in high-technology businesses.
