- Advising on tax-advantaged debt structurings in more than 20 different countries.
- Advising insurance companies and private equity funds on the tax implications of outbound and inbound insurance transactions, including acquisition and reinsurance structurings.
- Representing a leading independent power producer as tax counsel in its $2.2 billion public offering and spin from its parent utility company.
- Serving as tax counsel to major global independent power producers in tenders and acquisitions for projects and companies in Argentina, Australia, Austria, the Bahamas, Brazil, Chile, China, England, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, the Philippines, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Slovakia, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago and the United States.
- Representing many companies in the formation of offshore holding structures.
- Serving as tax adviser to a Fortune 1000 paper company in its $8 billion merger with a major Canadian paper company.
