Ray Ramirez is a member of Sutherland’s Corporate Practice Group where he focuses his practice on derivatives and structured products. He is a member of the firm’s Legal Project Management Core Team where he is involved in developing processes and tools for improving the efficient and effective delivery of legal services.

Before joining Sutherland, Ray participated in the firm’s 2009 Summer Associate Program where he worked on insurance and tax matters. He gained experience in investment management and securities regulation when he served as a legal intern for a major insurance company. Ray was also a public school teacher in New York City.

Ray is fluent in Spanish.

Ray is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar, New Jersey State Bar and Maryland State Bar.
