Sutherland Partners W. Mark Smith and Clifford E. Kirsch are speaking at PLI’s Fundamentals of Investment Adviser Regulation 2010 on July 16, 2010, in New York. Mark will be speaking on “Institutional Advisory Services.” His presentation will discuss different types of institutional advisory services, advisers to private funds, and advisers in the retirement marketplace. Cliff is chair of the event and will provide the opening remarks.
This conference will provide valuable information on the regulatory regime as it applies to investment advisers. A distinguished faculty of practitioners and regulators will offer insights into recent rulemaking, including custody and pay-to-play as well as the new SEC adviser exam program.
