"UGA Law Draws More Minorities"
While the University of Georgia School of Law did enroll a record number of black students in its Class of 2006 without considering race as an admissions factor, the U.S. Supreme Court's June ruling in a University of Michigan Law School case would allow Georgia to re-adopt this policy if it so chose. The decision should, however, be used cautiously, said Rocco Testani, especially since Georgia has seen a rise in black enrollment without its application.
