Nick Djuric, a member of Sutherland’s Tax Practice Group, practices primarily in the areas of estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax; wills, trusts, and administration of estates; tax controversies; fiduciary litigation; and private foundations. He concentrates on estate planning including preparation of wills and trust instruments, and on tax and succession planning for closely held businesses. Nick has extensive experience with multi-generational estate planning and works closely with private family offices and their teams of professional advisors.
Nick has served as an adjunct professor of law at John Marshall Law School and Georgia State University College of Law, teaching about wills, trusts, estates, and federal gift and estate taxation. Before joining Sutherland, Nick was a law clerk for the Honorable Gerald Bard Tjoflat, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
