REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE Nick’s recent representative experience includes:
- Obtaining defense judgment after trial in Texas federal court for a large insurer sued for fraud and rescission in connection with the sale of a Medicare supplement book of business.
- Representing a major corporation in ERISA class action claims based on the allegedly wrongful purchase of company stock by 401(k) plans and obtaining dismissal with prejudice of all claims in Georgia federal court.
- Successfully representing the trustees of a large multi-employer pension fund in several matters in different federal courts, including class actions alleging breach of ERISA duties.
- Obtaining dismissal of an ERISA class action against a major issuer of 403(b) annuities in Washington federal court.
- Numerous arbitrations of reinsurance disputes.
- Several matters litigating against statutory liquidators of large insurers.
