Melissa Wilson is the Firm's Director of Legal Recruiting. She is responsible for the Firm's recruiting efforts, including the fall on-campus recruitment and all aspects of lateral hiring.

Melissa works closely with the Firm's partners and practice group leaders to identify needs and candidates for Sutherland's attorney hiring. She also provides direction and implementation for Firm hiring programs in all of Sutherland's offices to support the firm's Strategic Plan. Melissa supervises the summer associate program in all offices and works to develop a cohesive consistent recruitment plan between offices.

Melissa received her B.A. in History from Washington & Lee University. Prior to joining Sutherland, she was a paralegal at Hogan & Hartson.
