Prior to joining the firm, Mark served as the CEO of Keehi Technologies, Inc., where he provided consulting, technical due diligence, engineering design and prototyping services for clients including several universities in the Southeast, a robotics company, a venture capital firm and a mechanical design firm. He also has extensive experience analyzing intellectual property matters and writing patents.
While Mark has particular experience with intellectual property-related matters, he also has extensive knowledge in the following areas:
- Electronics hardware/firmware/software design;
- Embedded microprocessor applications design;
- Sensors design, interfacing, filtering and integration with electronics;
- Rapid design, engineering and construction of unique electronic circuits and prototypes;
- Wireless platform integration; and
- Optical engineering (optical fiber, Fabry-Perot filters and holography).
Mark earned a Ph.D., an M.S.E.E and a B.S.E.E.,
high honors, from the Georgia Institute of Technology where he researched fiber optics, microelectronics, holography, parallel optical processing, digital signal processing and electronic design. He received a B.A.,
summa cum laude, from Southern Utah University.
