Mark primarily devotes his time to international transactions, international trade and dispute resolution.  He advises clients on all aspects of international business, including the structuring of transactions, foreign investment and international business practices.  Mark represents corporations in a variety of energy and technology industries and chairs the firm’s Nuclear Energy Practice.  Mark acts for clients in mergers and acquisitions and represented British Nuclear Fuels in the sale of Westinghouse to Toshiba for $5.4 billion.  He has also played a key role in resolving many significant international disputes, including matters involving trade in automobiles, flat panel displays, semiconductors, steel and uranium.

Mark appears before the U.S. International Trade Commission and numerous other agencies of the U.S. Government and in federal courts throughout the United States.  He has extensive experience in cases and transactions involving complex economic and international issues.

Mark has served as a Trinational Panelist under the North American Free Trade Agreement and is a member of the Advisory Board of the North American Free Trade & Investment Report.  He is active in the American Bar Association and the International Nuclear Lawyers Association.  For a five-year term, Mark chaired the Annual Conference on International Trade sponsored by the Georgetown University Law Center, and he is a frequent speaker on international business, nuclear energy and trade.
