REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCELudovic’s representative experience includes:
- Drafting commercial documentation associated with energy commodities trading for major concerns, including general terms and conditions, physical master purchase and sale agreements, trade confirmations, marine provisions, and netting agreements.
- Drafting agreements for the terminal storage and throughput of various energy commodities, including crude oil, refined petroleum products, ethanol and LPG in the United States and Europe for major concerns.
- Representing a jet fuel supplier in supply agreements with major international and domestic air carriers.
- Advising oil trading companies with the legal and regulatory requirements of importing and exporting petroleum products into and from various international jurisdictions.
- Assisting and advising a major concern with the ISDA Oil Annex and the LEAP Master Agreement for Purchasing and Selling Refined Petroleum Products and Crude Oil.
- Advising oil trading companies on oil-spill risk liability in the United States and in various international jurisdictions, including liability under international conventions and legislative instruments of the European Union.
- Performing due diligence for corporate acquisition transactions and internal and external audit examinations.
