Lisa focuses her practice in the areas of corporate and securities law, including public offerings and corporate governance matters.  She advises clients on compliance with the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Investment Company Act of 1940.

Lisa has represented clients in connection with a variety of corporate transactional matters, including public and private equity and debt offerings.  She also assists clients with the operation of public and private venture funds, including business development companies.  Lisa has extensive corporate governance-related experience and regularly advises operating and investment companies on compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and the corporate governance listing standards of the New York Stock Exchange, the American Stock Exchange and The NASDAQ Stock Market.

Lisa has served as an instructor at a two-day seminar on corporate governance for the International Law Institute in connection with Georgetown University in 2006 and 2007.
 
Lisa is a member of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, as well as the Corporation, Finance and Securities Law Section of the District of Columbia Bar Association.
