Aaron Furniss, a member of Sutherland’s Litigation Practice Group, focuses his practice on securities and commercial litigation. His securities experience includes representing broker-dealers, their officers and their registered representatives before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and in state court. He defends claims arising from transactions in various investment vehicles including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, auction rate securities and variable products.

In connection with his commercial litigation practice, Aaron has appeared in federal and state courts, before self-regulatory organizations, in American Arbitration Association hearings and in arbitrations administered by the International Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he recently argued a case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
