Darryl Smith is a member of Sutherland’s Energy and Environmental Group. His practice is primarily corporate and transactional in nature and focuses on the representation of electric utilities and underwriters in debt financing, federal and state securities regulation, secured lending and general corporate advice.

Before joining Sutherland, Darryl served as a summer associate with a firm in Jacksonville, Florida, and as an intern for the Office of the State Attorney in Florida’s Eighth Judicial Circuit. Prior to attending law school, Darryl worked in various sales and management positions for the Cintas Corporation.
