Keith Barnett, a member of Sutherland’s Litigation Practice Group, focuses his practice in the areas of business litigation and securities enforcement. He has represented companies and individuals against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in both litigation and enforcement actions. He also has litigated jury and bench trials in state and federal courts against individuals and companies on various legal issues.

Keith has significant experience representing accounting and consulting firms, and individual accountants and consultants, in malpractice cases in federal and state courts. He also represents receivers for companies that have been sued by the SEC, conducts corporate internal investigations and represents individuals under investigation, and counsels clients on general corporate, real estate and U.S. Customs matters.
