Kally Carreathers is a financial services attorney experienced in counseling business executives, hedge fund principals and bank stakeholders on swaps and derivatives products across all asset classes (including commodities, fixed income, interest rate, foreign exchange, credit and equity derivatives).

Prior to joining Sutherland, Kally worked with a major investment bank where she focused on the documentation and negotiation of a variety of over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives and related financial transactions (including prime brokerage, securities lending, repurchase agreements, and master confirmations).

Upon receiving her law degree, Kally worked as an associate at a large law firm in Houston. As a member of the Corporate Capital Markets team, she advised commercial banks, financial institutions and buy-side corporate borrowers on asset securitizations, structured finance transactions, and derivative products (e.g., swaps, futures, options), including workouts and defaults.

Prior to attending law school, Kally served in the management consulting division of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she successfully oversaw the implementation of enterprise-wide information technology solutions for Fortune 50 clients in more than 20 countries and states.
