Judy Watkins is a member of Sutherland’s Corporate Practice Group, where she focuses her practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactions. As part of her practice, Judy represents and counsels public and private companies in the purchase and sale of businesses, restructurings and strategic relationships, and independent contractor and supply arrangements. Judy also advises clients on issues of reportability and interpretations of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act and its regulations.
Judy has represented clients in transactions throughout the United States and internationally across several different industries including insurance, technology-related services, water treatment and manufacturing.
While attending law school, Judy worked as a legal intern for the Georgia Department of Education, extensively researching education law and policy.
REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
