REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE Jeff’s recent representative experience includes:
- Premier Networks, Inc. v. Lucent Technologies, Inc. and AT&T Corp. (N.D. Ill.), representing Lucent and AT&T in litigation in the Northern District of Illinois regarding telephone circuitry. The District Court found non-infringement on summary judgment and the Federal Circuit affirmed.
- Via Technologies, Inc. et al. v. Intel Corp. (W.D. Tex.), representing Via Technologies in litigation in the Western District of Texas involving multiple patents for both sides on microprocessor hardware and software. The case settled favorably to the client.
- Takeda Pharmaceuticals v. Teva Pharmaceuticals (D. Del), representing one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies (Teva) in the trial of a Hatch-Waxman case relating to Prevacid® with market at issue $1 billion annually.
- In the Matter of Certain Alendronate Salts and Products Containing Same (U.S.I.T.C.), representing the defendant manufacturer of an active pharmaceutical ingredient in drugs used to treat osteoporosis in a Section 337 action before the U.S. International Trade Commission. The plaintiff dropped investigation against our client.
