Jim Bushee, a member of Sutherland’s Energy and Environmental Practice Group, has represented a broad range of clients in electric power and natural gas matters for more than 25 years. His practice focuses on electric power regulatory matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT), and federal and state appellate courts.

Jim’s FERC practice includes electric power rulemaking, rate proceedings and compliance matters, primarily on behalf of industrial end users and independent power producers. Before the PUCT, Jim has represented industrial end users and an electric utility in electric power rulemaking and rate proceedings in Texas.
