- In its national survey, Vault ranked Sutherland as #9 in Diversity, #10 in Best for Minorities, #10 in Best for Women, and #13 in Best for Gays and Lesbians
- MultiCultural Law Magazine has repeatedly ranked Sutherland as a Top 100 firm nationally for Diversity and for Women, and as a Top 5 firm for Disabled Americans and a Top 25 firm for African-Americans
- The State Bar of Georgia's Women and Minorities in the Profession Committee awarded its Commitment to Equality Award to partner Charles Lester
- Georgia Trend magazine and Atlanta magazine recognize many of our diverse lawyers as leaders in their profession
- Best Lawyers in America recognizes four Sutherland women and one Sutherland lawyer of color as among the best in their fields
