REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE Greg’s recent representative experience includes:
- Advising clients on environmental regulations affecting the importation, blending, transport, and trading of fuel commodities, including renewable fuels (ethanol and biodiesel), reformulated and conventional gasoline, diesel fuel and heating oil.
- Assisting refiners, importers and marketers with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Mobile Source program audits.
- Counseling clients on material regulatory noncompliance disclosures and negotiations with the EPA.
- Drafting agreements for the purchase and sale of fuel oil, biodiesel, ethanol and EPA Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs).
- Analyzing and counseling clients on current and emerging federal and state initiatives to regulate and restrict carbon dioxide emissions.
- Counseling clients on liability exposure and risk management options associated with the release of persistent and non-persistent petroleum products from vessels. He also has been involved in the assessment of U.S. and international liability regimes addressing such releases.
