Carter Williams is a member of Sutherland’s Energy and Environmental Practice Group, where he focuses on complex commercial litigation involving international energy companies. He also is a member of the firm’s Energy Compliance Team and assists clients with internal and external investigations and development of compliance policies.

Before joining Sutherland, Carter worked in legislative affairs and for the Office of the Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and interned with U.S. Senators David Pryor and Dale Bumpers.
