- Designing dispute resolution provisions in utility contracts and dispute resolution systems in utility disputes.
- Providing advocacy in multi-party utility mediations.
- Assisting in arbitrations of utility contract disputes.
- Mediating and arbitrating a variety of utility and other business disputes.
- Working with generating utilities and groups of distribution utilities to resolve conflicts over rates, allocations of costs, debt restructuring and power purchase contract changes.
- Serving on special task forces to resolve difficult community conflicts.
- Heading up several strategic planning initiatives for religious groups and law firms.
- Serving as a board member on various corporate, religious, educational and community boards.
- Advising on generation asset co-ownership arrangements.
- Providing counsel on generation asset acquisition and disposition transactions.
- Providing counsel on generation and transmission asset corporate separation transactions.
- Representing clients in the development of multiple combined-cycle units.
- Served to the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the Navy Judge Advocates Corps from 1965 through 1979.
