William draws on more than 25 years of experience to guide his US and foreign clients in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions.
These include acquisitions, sales, leasing, project financing and public-private partnerships. William’s clients include lenders, servicers, institutional investors, developers, owners and tenants.
William’s finance work focuses on project financing, including financing of mission-critical data centers and colocation facilities, construction financing, mezzanine financing, restructuring of loans, foreclosures, and workouts. He speaks regularly on a wide range of issues affecting real estate finance and development.
- Represented FTSE 250 manufacturer in connection with its acquisition of all of the outstanding stock of a US-based manufacturer of knobs, handles, spring-loaded pins and other components and all of the outstanding stock of its Costa Rican affiliate.
- Advised T5 Data Centers on its agreement with QuadReal Property Group to launch a platform for the acquisition, development and operation of data centers for enterprise and hyperscale users.
- Represents the lender in connection with the financing of a data center in Seattle, Washington.
- Represents the buyer in connection with the acquisition and financing of a 200,000-square foot Tier 3 data center located in northern Virginia.
