William counsels clients in the US and internationally on a broad range of transactional matters.
These include venture capital investments, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions (including in a distressed context), divestitures, corporate restructuring (including in Chapter 11 bankruptcy), strategic business alliances, complex commercial arrangements, outsourcing arrangements, and general corporate matters.
He also regularly guides suppliers of software and other technology solutions through the creation and negotiation of agreements for software-as-a-service and related professional services, in addition to advising clients on comprehensive procurement agreements. While William has counseled clients across many industries, he has developed significant experience in the technology, financial, industrial and automotive sectors.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland (US), William conducted complex business analyses and provided strategic guidance as an internal management consultant at a multinational telecommunications corporation.
