SoRelle Brown represents employers in a broad range of employment and labor law matters under federal and state laws. She defends employers in wage and hour actions arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act and various state laws, including complex class and collective actions involving overtime, terminations and other employment-related claims.
In addition to representing employers in litigation, SoRelle counsels clients on employment agreements and preventive legal strategies, such as compliance audits of human resources and wage practices. She consults with employers to assess hiring, promotion and compensation practices for compliance with applicable laws. SoRelle also represents employers in discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims brought under both federal and state discrimination laws.
