Christian Walker represents corporate clients in the areas of securities, corporate governance and finance. His practice focuses on advising companies, including certain funds, such as business development companies, on public and private debt and equity offerings and other financing transactions, ongoing U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and operation in accordance with the securities laws, and other transactional matters.

Before relocating to Washington, D.C., and joining Sutherland, Christian practiced in Wilmington, Delaware, where he represented clients in corporate and alternative entity litigation before the Delaware Court of Chancery. He also counseled corporations and directors on fiduciary duties and corporate governance matters, including with respect to internal investigations and mergers and acquisitions.
