Mike Kerman counsels clients in state and local tax compliance, planning and controversy matters. He advises on the full range of state and local tax types, including income, sales and use, franchise and property taxes.
As a former editor of Bloomberg BNA’s tax law publications, including the Weekly State Tax Report, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge in all areas of multistate taxation, particularly in corporate income and property tax.
His previous experience includes serving as a BNA bankruptcy law reporter, where he authored articles on large-scale bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings at the administrative and trial levels. Mike also worked as a student attorney in a low-income taxpayer clinic.
Mike is admitted to The New York State Bar Association. He has submitted his application to The District of Columbia Bar. His work is supervised by District of Columbia Bar members.
