With a practice emphasis on class action defense, white collar defense and business litigation, Meghana Shah, a member of Sutherland’s Litigation Practice Group, defends businesses in complex commercial litigation. She counsels clients in class action, product liability, environmental and maritime industry matters. Prior to joining Sutherland, Meghana was a senior associate with a large New England firm where she worked on commercial litigation matters, including defense of breach of contract, breach of warranty, fraud, misrepresentation, legal malpractice, product liability and tort claims. She also represented individuals and entities before regulatory and administrative bodies.
Meghana’s pre-Sutherland experience includes serving as a law clerk to Justice Christine S. Vertefeuille of the Supreme Court of Connecticut. Meghana is a member of the Connecticut and New York Bars. She earned her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
