Marc has a background in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and related issues. 

He works with both privately and publicly held companies in acquisitions, restructuring transactions, joint ventures, and both private and public securities offerings. Marc also counsels clients in a variety of industries on corporate governance matters. He regularly advises on transactions involving capital formation, including securities offerings and intellectual property licensing arrangements for businesses, and has particular experience in structuring complex franchise, limited liability, and partnership arrangements, including public-private partnerships.

Marc has been selected as one of 12 Georgia Lawyers Under 40 “On the Rise” by the Fulton County Daily Report, was appointed as an ambassador of the American Bar Association’s business section, and is a member of Eversheds Sutherland's Business Development Committee and Diversity and Inclusion Committee. He also serves as the Deputy Practice Group Leader for the firm’s US Business Practices Group.

He serves as primary contract counsel for a number of the firm's largest clients, negotiating supply agreements, licensing agreements, leases, service agreements, procurement documentation and other material agreements.

  • Advised one of the largest global financial institutions in its acquisition of a technology platform for mobile payments.
  • Represented Cox Enterprises in the sale of its radio station portfolio (comprising fifty-four stations) and national advertising businesses to Apollo Global Management.
  • Represented Cox Enterprises in the sale of its television station portfolio (comprising thirteen stations in ten markets across the United States) to Apollo Global Management.
  • Represented Southwire, North America’s largest wire and cable producer, in its acquisition of assets from DCN Cables, LLC.
  • Represented Southwire in the acquisition of a $75 million cable manufacturing facility from ABB Inc. in Huntersville, North Carolina.
  • Represented TE Connectivity, a global company offering connectivity solutions to different industries across the globe, in the $350 million sale of its circuit protection business.
  • Represented TE Connectivity, a global company offering connectivity solutions to different industries across the globe, in the $3 billion sale of its telecom, enterprise and wireless businesses.
  • Represented Southwire in acquiring a $75 million cable manufacturing facility from ABB Inc. in Huntersville, North Carolina
  • Represented Southwire in acquiring Sumner Manufacturing Company, Inc.
