Griff manages patent portfolios for large, multinational corporations and leading research institutions. His clients include Fortune 100 companies, technology sector leaders and universities. He counsels clients on the development and expansion of their IP portfolios. Griff leverages his education in electrical engineering and work experience in the telecommunication industry to advise clients in establishing and protecting patents related to computer hardware and software, wired and wireless communications, electronics, financial and medical transactions, and display technology.
Griff writes opinions, prosecutes patents, handles reexaminations, performs clearance studies (for example, freedom to operate), develops and negotiates licensing agreements, performs intellectual property due diligence, manages IP portfolios and conducts intellectual property audits. Griff is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
