Josh Aronson is a patent prosecutor who drafts patentability and infringement opinions and creates patent applications for submission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and offices abroad. He primarily serves clients who are developing new products such as organic light-emitting diodes, medical and drug-delivery devices, chemical processes, high-performance materials, beverage additives, plastics, and polyester additives. For instance, Josh manages and prosecutes the U.S. patent portfolio of a European company that specializes in designing and manufacturing various chemical components and arrangements of organic light-emitting diodes.
Before joining Sutherland, Josh served as an intern with the American Pacific Corporation, working in the company’s chemical research lab on projects involving energetic molecules and polymers, which also served as research topics for his dissertation. Josh is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
