John E.


John Sharpe focuses on an array of business and commercial litigation matters, including insurance, financial services, and securities litigation and enforcement. His work also includes advising clients facing internal investigations.

John also routinely advises clients on compliance and litigation strategies relating to proposed and existing legislation.

Prior to joining Sutherland, John was a law clerk for the Honorable Eleanor L. Ross of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. His previous experience includes serving as a legal extern for Chief Justice Hugh Thompson of the Georgia Supreme Court and working in the Georgia legislature.
