David Reid regularly advises institutional clients on the formation of joint ventures and funds to invest in asset classes including industrial, multifamily, hospitality, agribusiness and debt, and on the purchase, financing and sale of those assets. He represents clients who invest in agriculture and agribusiness, and has experience in multifarm portfolio acquisitions, investments in row crops and permanent plantings, management agreements and farm leases.
David counsels timberland investment management organizations and other large timber investors on the full spectrum of timber transactions, including purchases and sales of large-acreage timberland and timber deeds, long-term supply agreements, management agreements and financing.
In addition, David guides international clients and domestic clients with foreign investors through federal and state reporting and compliance requirements for investments in agriculture and timberland in the United States.
