Chris Mehrmann focuses his practice on multistate tax planning, policy, compliance and controversy. Chris counsels on a wide range of state and local tax matters, involving sales and use, property, income and franchise taxes.

Prior to joining Sutherland, Chris worked as a legal extern for the tax practice of an international law firm. He also served as a law clerk for the Connecticut Superior Court.

Chris is admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He has submitted his application to The District of Columbia Bar. His work is supervised by District of Columbia Bar members.
