Amy Xu advises investment advisers, broker-dealers, investment companies and corporations on securities litigation, investigations, and regulatory and enforcement matters involving the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Amy also has experience counseling clients on complex commercial and white collar litigation matters. Additionally, she maintains an active pro bono practice, serving as counsel in a number of immigration cases.

Before joining Sutherland as an associate, Amy participated in the firm’s Summer Associate program. Her previous experiences include interning at the St. Louis Public Defender, externing with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and serving as an analyst for a leading global information and measurement company.

Amy is admitted to The New York State Bar Association. Her work is supervised by District of Columbia Bar members.
