ATLANTA and WASHINGTON (June 16, 2011) – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP is pleased to announce two new additions to the firm’s professional leadership team: Barbara J. Shirkey as Chief Human Resources Officer and Robert D. Dolinsky as Chief Information Officer.
Ms. Shirkey, who is based in the Atlanta office, has more than 15 years of law firm human resources experience – most recently providing leadership coaching as a principal with Shirkey Associates LLC. Previously, she served as Chief Talent Officer at Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP and Chief Human Resources Officer at Squire Sanders & Dempsey. She is an active member of the Human Resources Leadership Forum and Society for Human Resources Management. Ms. Shirkey earned her bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University, her master’s degree in Psychology and Diversity Management from Cleveland State University, as well as credentials from Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching program.
Mr. Dolinsky, who is based in the Washington, D.C., office, has more than 20 years of law firm technology management and consulting experience. He joins Sutherland from eSentio Technologies, where he served as the director of consulting. Mr. Dolinsky’s experience ranges from strategic technology planning to case and matter management. Well-regarded in his field, Mr. Dolinsky is a frequent speaker at industry events such as Legal Tech. He earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s in business administration from the University of Maryland.
