WASHINGTON (March 23, 2006) – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP represented the underwriters in connection with the shelf offering of 17,250,000 shares of common stock (including the underwriters' over-allotment option) of Apollo Investment Corporation (Nasdaq: AINV). Apollo Investment Corporation raised net proceeds of approximately $294 million in the offering.
