ATLANTA (November 15, 2004) – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP served as counsel for UBS Realty Investors LLC in its $247.5 million acquisition of property from Atlanta-based Wildwood Associates, a joint venture between Cousins Properties, Inc. and International Business Machines, Inc.
The deal, announced October 26, 2004, includes the sale of two of the largest suburban office buildings in Atlanta – the 635,000 square foot 2300 Windy Ridge Parkway and the 700,756 square foot Wildwood Plaza. The transaction also included eight ground leases at the 2.5 million square foot, eight-building, 285-acre Wildwood Office Park complex just northwest of Atlanta in Cobb County.
The Sutherland team was led by Al Adams, a partner who practices in the Real Estate Group in the Atlanta office. Susan Kalus, Paul Reynolds, Eric Sidman, and Jennifer Van Ness, all of whom practice in the Real Estate Group, also worked on the deal.
