ATLANTA (November 13, 2000) – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP has expanded its securities litigation and enforcement practice with the addition of two new partners. Neil S. Lang and Robert R. Ambler, Jr. will continue to represent companies and individuals in a broad range of securities matters.
Bob Ambler will practice in the firm's Atlanta office. Mr. Amblerhas more than 10 years experience representing companies, shareholders, directors and officers, and accountants in shareholder, derivative, and enforcement actions. He is a 1982 graduate of the College of William & Mary, and earned an M.B.A. from Georgia State University in 1986. Mr. Ambler became Emory University Law School's first honor graduate in 1989 when he received his J.D., with distinction.
Neil Lang joins Sutherland's Washington, D.C. office. A former Chief Trial Attorney for the Division of Enforcement of the SEC, Mr. Lang brings more than 20 years of experience in securities enforcement and litigation involving the SEC, self-regulatory organizations and private litigants. He is involved in professional associations and academic facilities, including being a member of the adjunct faculty at Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Lang received his B.S. from City College of New York in 1964, and earned his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law in 1967.
