ATLANTA and WASHINGTON (May 11, 1999) – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP is pleased to announce that Alfred A. Lindseth and Clifford E. Muller have been elected to the firm's Executive Committee. Announced during the firm's annual Partners' Retreat and 75th Anniversary Celebration on April 16-18, Lindseth and Muller will serve a three year term. Rotating off of the seven-person committee are Thomas C. Herman, a partner in our Atlanta office, and William S. Corey, former managing partner of the Washington office.
"Al and Cliff offer tremendous leadership qualities and will contribute greatly to the strategic management of our firm," said Jim Henderson, firmwide Managing Partner.
Al Lindseth is a partner in the Atlanta office and formerly served as the firmwide Chair of the Litigation Group. He practices in the area of education law and has a national reputation in representing both states and school districts in complex school desegregation cases. He is a cum laude graduate of the Harvard Law School.
Cliff Muller is a partner in the Washington office where he practices in the area of federal tax law. He works regularly with clients on analyzing and structuring international tax transactions. He is an honors graduate of George Washington University National Law Center.
