The following lawyers in the firm's Atlanta office have been elected partner:
John W. Benson focuses his practice in the area of real estate finance, concentrating on securitized commercial real estate loans, affiliated debt products, structured finance, and resolution of non-performing or sub-performing real estate assets.
Thomas A. Cullinan practices mainly in tax controversy, representing taxpayers in tax litigation and in a variety of administrative settings, including audits and administrative appeals.
Kevin W. King concentrates his practice on patent procurement, intellectual property counseling, and strategic portfolio management for corporations and universities, with a particular focus in medical device, pharmaceutical, and other chemical and mechanical technologies.
Carla Wong McMillian focuses her practice in the areas of dealer and franchise litigation, accountants' and professional liability and other complex business litigation.
Kristin B. Wilhelm practices in litigation, specifically in accountants' and professional liability and class action litigation.
David A. Zimmerman concentrates his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions, and as part of that practice, he represents clients in purchases and sales of businesses, private equity investments, contracts and other corporate matters.

Gibbs concentrates her practice on all aspects of natural gas regulation, with a particular focus on advising international and U.S.-based clients in connection with liquefied natural gas supply, siting, regulatory, maritime, commercial, project development and other matters affecting the LNG industry.
Douglas J. Leary advises public and private company clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity transactions, corporate finance, and general corporate and contract matters.
