ATLANTA (May 6, 2003) – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP is pleased to announce that Keith R. McCrea and John H. Fleming were elected to the firm's Executive Committee. Announced at the firm's annual Partners' Meeting that took place April 25-27 in Williamsburg, VA, both partners will serve a three-year term.

Mr. McCrea is an energy partner in the Washington office. He focuses his practice on issues including energy regulation, energy contracts, electric power and federal energy regulation. He has been involved in natural gas and electric proceedings before the FERC and approximately 15 state regulatory commissions. Mr. McCrea is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center.
Mr. Fleming is a partner in the Atlanta office and is the firm wide chair of the 100+ attorney Litigation Group. He has extensive experience in franchise litigation, professional liability litigation, alternative dispute resolution, major litigation involving insurance companies and banks, and tax litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fleming clerked in Dallas with Judge Irving Goldberg of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School.
Peter H. Rodgers of the Energy Group in Washington, and James B. Jordan of the Real Estate Group in Atlanta finished serving on the Executive Committee as of April 2003. Both Peter and Jim served a three-year term.
