ATLANTA (July 6, 2000) – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP announces that Michael S. Bradley has joined the firm's Energy and Commodities Practice as a partner. He will continue to focus on new project development and other transactional work in the electric industry.
Mr. Bradley graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1982 and began his legal career by serving as an Assistant Attorney General of the State of Georgia, where he served as attorney for the Georgia Public Service Commission until 1985. He served as a Special Assistant Attorney General to the Georgia Public Service Commission from 1986 to 1991. He entered private practice in 1985.
Mr. Bradley he has developed an extensive practice representing power plant developers, including independent power producers and new development subsidiaries of traditional utility companies. He is experienced in all phases of utility matters before administrative agencies and appellate courts and with contracting and financing related to electric utility development. He also has significant experience representing telecommunications companies.
