Robert S. Chase II Named Chair of Sutherland’s Washington, D.C. Hiring Committee

WASHINGTON (August 25, 2009)Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP announces Tax Partner Robert S. Chase II has been named chair of the firm’s Washington, D.C., office Hiring Committee. Mr. Chase succeeds George H. Bostick, who served as Hiring Chair for two years.

“George has done an outstanding job leading the recruiting efforts for our Washington office over the past two years, and I am confident that Robb will continue our successful hiring efforts,” said Managing Partner Mark D. Wasserman. “I thank both Robb and George for their ongoing efforts supporting the firm’s strategic growth.”

Mr. Chase has been a member of the Hiring Committee for more than nine years. He focuses his practice on domestic and international tax planning and the taxation of financial products and was recently named as one of Washington’s top young lawyers in The National Law Journal’s LegalTimes “40 under 40.”
