Media Advisory: Mark Herlach to Moderate Panel on "Realistic Sustainability"

WASHINGTON (April 28, 2009) –

What: Today’s focus on climate change means issues and opportunities in developing energy technologies that support “realistic" sustainability, particularly in the areas of nuclear, clean coal, wind and solar energy.

Mark Herlach, a Partner at Sutherland whose practice focuses on legal issues at the intersection of corporate and energy law, will moderate a panel discussion at the annual Transatlantic Business Conference of the British American Business Council, focusing on “realistic sustainability" and the issues and opportunities involved in developing nontraditional methods for generating power. The panelists feature executives from four leading energy companies doing business in the U.S. and U.K., including:

Dr. Aris Candris, CEO of Westinghouse (nuclear).

Steven E. Winberg, Vice President of Research and Development for Consol Energy, the largest coal company in the U.S. (clean coal).
