HOUSTON (June 2, 2004) – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP is pleased to announce that Lola F. Lin has joined its growing national Energy Practice as an associate in the Houston office. Ms. Lin serves as President of the Asian American Bar Association of Houston and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Houston Young Lawyers Association.
Ms. Lin is a corporate associate in the firm's Houston office, handling corporate matters with an emphasis on energy transactions. She advises energy related start-up companies on a variety of corporate and taxation issues, establishes practices and procedures for trading energy commodities and assists in the acquisition or divestiture of energy related facilities.

Ms. Lin received her J.D. from the University of Houston College of Law in 1999 and her B.A. from the University of Texas. She spent five years as an associate at Locke Liddell & Sapp LLP in Houston prior to joining Sutherland.
