Henderson, III, Firmwide Managing Partner of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, was announced as Chair of the Board of Directors of Equal Justice Works at the 11th Annual Equal Justice Works Awards Dinner held on Thursday, October 23, 2003. Equal Justice Works is a leading organization, which trains and supports public service-minded law students, and helps create summer and postgraduate public interest jobs. Mr. Henderson will serve as Chair for a three-year term.

Formerly The National Association for Public Interest Law, Equal Justice Works was founded in 1986 by law students dedicated to surmounting barriers to equal justice that affect millions of low-income individuals and families.
