ATLANTA (February 21, 2012) – At the annual “Women of Vision" breakfast this morning, held by the Atlanta Business League (ABL), Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP Partner Allegra J. Lawrence-Hardy was named among “Atlanta’s Top 100 Black Women of Influence." The annual list recognizes black women in metro Atlanta who have demonstrated commitment to the community by maintaining significant involvement and participation in civic activities.
“Allegra is a skilled leader in the legal field and within our firm," said Sutherland Managing Partner Mark D. Wasserman. “We are very proud to see that her talents are recognized beyond our walls."
Annually, the ABL honors Atlanta women who have reached senior level positions within their fields; are leading industry entrepreneurs; or have attained the ability to influence large public bodies politically and in government.
Ms. Lawrence-Hardy is a member of Sutherland’s Litigation Practice Group and co-leader of the Business and Commercial Litigation team. She has extensive experience handling complex multi-party, multi-jurisdictional commercial and labor and employment matters. Ms. Lawrence-Hardy has successfully defended primarily Fortune 100 companies throughout the United States and abroad in numerous trials, arbitrations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. She also is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
